haiku: winterreise for beethoven







stormy weather ahead;

tonight's for the moonlight 

and breaking the ice.



closely observed by a statue of beethoven the pianist is playing a passage from schubert's winterreise in slow motion . . . that is to say at melting iceberg speed.
