Today's Weather: in the valleys and on the plains the temperature inversion continues, -5C to -10C, fog and ice-rain. With my paints I dream of summer. In real outdoor life there may be a slight improvement in the weather according to forecasts. After the recent snow race my running feet find themselves itching for more . . .
Dreaming seem to be the thing to do right now, most of the known world is rather like in CS Lewis books of Narnia, always winter and never christmas.
ReplyDeleteI love that green painting, does that field exist anywhere but in your dreams??
I never run, had my share of that, but I can walk for miles. Spring will come, Gwil, at least in nature....
If I've some paint left over when I've done a painting then I let my subconscious take over and paint on scrap paper whatever comes. Sometimes the results are illuminating. As for running I run 90% off road. A lot of my running is done with the purpose of seeing what's out there in the forest and woods, in the fields and the mountains. Animals seem untroubled by my arrival and passing. They are often as curious about me as I am about them.
DeleteWell in that case your subconsious takes you to places almost as fascinating as your running tours. I'd like to take a good look in your gallery!!!
DeleteThank you for the interest, I'll see what I can find. Maybe I'll try and photograph my space alien picture :)
DeleteIt reminds me of something I might have done.
ReplyDeleteThen you must do it.
DeleteLove the picture Gwil. Is there not end to your talents?
ReplyDeletePat, I've never tried milking a cow. :)
