Thanks. Glad you like them. I haven't heard of 'Your Pace or Mine'*, so thanks for the tip. My favourite running book is Christopher McDougall's classic 'Born to Run' - although I admire Barefoot Ted, one of the runners featured, I have no wish to run barefoot myself! *Today's pace was a 9 km solo park run at 6:30 am (before the heat!) appx 45-47 mins. I think the measured course 1.5 km laps is like myself not so exact, or can be.
Fabulous! I've noticed them popping up here too. My favourite is the dog eared smiley:o).
ReplyDeleteHave you read Lisa Jackson's book Your pace or mine? It's a lovely book, a warm and humorous look at running generally, marathons and ultras.

I like The Elephant In The Grass Gwil. The look like fun guys - fungis. Sorry!
ReplyDeleteGlad you like 'em Dave. Incidentally I was a child of the Flower Pot Men era. I think maybe it shows.
DeleteI like the red one. Red ones always feel like they are straight out of fairy tales.
ReplyDeleteThe Ferrari of mushrooms! Just until midnight.
DeleteI love the Dog-eared smiley. Your previous post was advertised on my side bar but I was never able to raise it.
ReplyDeleteGrrreat. The Dog-eared is now in the lead.
