  1. Not a lot of difference to what the EU spoke about at lunch in Malta recently.

    1. I saw a map in the paper which showed that the Libyan coastline is controlled by at least 3 different factions including ISIS in the centre part of the coastline plus the east / west rivals of the war in their respective strongholds. Anyway they are to get a few hundred million euros to allow the EU to patrol the waters it appears. I don't know how the EU propose to do this without more Mr Bean style chaos and the usual quota of death resulting but it will be interesting to see.

    2. Hillary Clinton should fund it. I was reading somewhere today that the US neglect to follow European news and know nothing of what has been happening over here as they think it has nothing to do with them.

    3. Has been anything on your news over the Turkish spy scandal which broke here a couple of days ago? Almost definitely it won't be on the US news.
A prominent Austrian politician called Peter Pilz has revealed that
Erdogan has sent an army of secret agents into Europe to promote his brand of Islam. They have €50,000,000 budget, and they are here in Austria and 29 other countries. THe Turks are actively looking for a mole in the embassy according to today's news.
What was that strange incident at Hamburg yesterday all about? Pepper spray in the air conditioning system they say. Mmm.

    4. The spy story was reported here two months ago. Erdogan sent in spies to find Gulen supporters in Germany following the failed coup.

The Hamburg pepper incident is being treated as a prank. It must have been a big pepper cannister; airports are big places. It is not being covered by the US media but then they dont want to confront the truth. It has probably only been reported by Fox.
