Wot, no Campari?

The following photos were taken in and around the town of San Candido in the Italian Tirol. I was over there for a few days in January. And it was, as always in Italy, simply lovely. Bellissimo!

The snow-sculptured cyclist reminds us that primavera is just around the corner!

  1. I love the tap; like a ballerina. The bicycle reminds me of, well, bicycles. The man and the man are the sign that life is life and goes on to enjoy.

    1. I always enjoy the Dolomites and South Tyrol. It's a magical place. There will be great scenery to see on TV when the 100th Giro rides through. Try and catch a glimpse.

  2. It seems to me that the old friend you bumped in to has a certain frozen expression around him. He looks kind enough, not much conversation but perhaps a kindred soul to share a beer with, he doesn't look like the red wine type!! The pictures are absolutely stunning, Gwil, what a lovely scenery!!!!

    1. You're right about it being cold. We ran in the snow and they gave us not Campari but tea and doughnuts! My wooden friend is a solid chap, well made too. Ciao, G.
