Holy Smoke! We're on our way!


11am and New Years Eve begins - a la Vienna!

  1. Here we have the New Year's Day half marathon. Looks like yours has already begun. I used to live next door to the local girl winner of all the marathons and half marathons (only three years ago) and running she did. She taught me the difference between a runner and a jogger. Eight miles before tea was normal and 40 mile bike rides and immediate runs after a day out, car parked, and out running. Then after babies came,she was out running with pram. Lovely. Happy days are all around us in spite of all the bad things are they not!

    1. There are more good things than bad things in the world, but that's no reason why we cannot aim higher, aim to make the world an even better, happier place. More women's rights where requied, and equality where needed would be a good start. It's no use having a convention on human rights and then playing the old three monkey game.
