Landscape

An acrylic cut and paste job.

A solution of sorts.

Two grimly unhappy paintings, a seascape and a landscape, were uncaringly immolated and the sacrificial leftovers uncompromisingly glued together for life.

With the end result:

The sea is now the sky.

Destino!

    1. Pat , I humbly thank you. I'm relaxing by watching women's European football on tv. Very exciting!

    1. Many thanks!!!

In the European Women's Football Austria look set for the quarter finals. They're winning 2-0. They should hold on comfortably. Iceland not very creative, but their fans sometimes make up for it with that great noise you'll remember from last year.
      Gute Nacht aus Wien!

  3. You should design album covers Gwil. I notice a lot of the Womens football players wear make up and are very nice looking too. Come on England tonight. I felt sorry for the Switzerland goalkeeper last night.

    1. They are nice looking because they are not covered with tattoos like their overpaid and underperforming male counterparts. I think England will win the tournament.

  4. Re being vegetarian Gwil - my grand daughter and her husband call themselves Piscatarians as they eat salmon tuna and sardines.

  5. Interesting piece of art. So glad you found out what the plant was. I assume it counts as invasive if it's a toxic non-native. Would be worth letting the relevant authorities know. Invasive plants are a real headache in the U.K. Enjoyed your trail run too btw- a great idea and so simple with the signs. My knee stood up well to yesterday's 5k so I'm quietly hopeful for the next HM :o).

    1. Thanks CT, I think my next hm could be the last weekend in September. This morning I did my 2 hr run but I was flagging towards the end from the heat and humidity. Fortunately I was able to buy a bottle of ice tea at a petrol station shop. Good luck with your training!

    2. The weather makes a huge difference. I definitely run better in the cooler weather! Where is your HM?

    3. I haven't entered one yet, but I'm thinking of that time period. A friend of mine is doing one, don't know where yet, and then a marathon in October, but I'm not doing a marathon. I imagine it'll be in Austria, unless I'm in GB as I was last year and did one in Wales.

  6. The winchester half is sept 24th. Not in Wales and a road HM but a lovely city in beautiful countryside. Or you could wait a week and do the Clarendon HM. Gnarly, hilly, all off road, a great race between salisbury and winchester :o).
