    1. When I look at Dionysius the Humble's calendar I don't think it's quite what Jesus had in mind. It's very cold at night and there's frost in the forecast. But it's to warm up quite a lot by the weekend. In fact today is already 5 C warmer than yesterday when the temperature reached 6 C max around here. They say it'll get to 20 C plus.

  2. I was born at Easter and my friend who was born 24 hours after me has just emailed me to say that we were born at one of the hottest Easter's on record. I suppose her mother must have told her. Mine never told me. Me and my brother are both Easter babies, he was born at a very late Easter on 24th April and I was, as we know, born on the 12th.

    1. I don't know of any Easter babies in our family. We have a New Year's Eve baby. He's our latest addition. Please see reply to JN below as I mention you.

  4. My mother died on an Easter and was buried on my birthday. There just aren't enough days in a year to make it all work out satisfactorily.

    1. I was recently discussing birth-days on Rachel's page. My mother lived for approximately 35,000 days. I'm now over 26,000 days old. It's easy to get your own exact numbers on the net. I think it's another way of looking at things. In the infamous 1,000 year German Third Reich the so-called Furhrer's birthday was a national holiday. He was born on the Easter weekend but I don't know exactly which day. It was either the Saturday or the Sunday. Nowadays at Easter Austrian people give each other boiled eggs the shells of which are dyed various colours.
