I like your poetry style. Does it have a name?
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't dream of giving it a name. That would be a nightmare. Name a thing and then it's history. It's like some people go to the doctor and are not satisfied unless he gives them the label. The official Latin name, that is. And the longer and more complicated the name is the better they like it. I wonder what the medical term is for a chilblain.

DeleteYes - like the poem (and the nameless style) - I too was disgusted that we came so low down and yet we tell ourselves all the time that our press is free and we are proud of it.
ReplyDeleteIt's very sad that we delude ourselves in this way. There are I think at least 22 European countries above us in the list, that is to say we are 23rd position or worse, and that's just here in Europe. How dare we preach our values to other countries!
