Unfortunately in our modern days plenty families are still doing a similar journey... Buon Natale, serenità e pace Gwil, a te a alla tua famiglia. Greetings Maria x
There's a Christmas poem of mine you read at a poetry group years ago. It's called A Light Fog. I wonder if you remember it. I'm leaving a page of 20 posts to read over the holidays. All you have to do is enter the word Christmas in the Poet in Residence blog's search box. Light Fog will be the second one down. At least it is at the moment. Stay warm and cosy! :-)

Grazie Maria, buon natale e pace!
DeleteVisual poetry I think.
ReplyDeleteI think the order and the colours help. Thanks Rachel.
DeleteIlike the idea of the pictures too Gwil.
ReplyDeleteThanks Pat, it's not often we see a picture of Joseph. He looks a decent sort. They say he was too told for her. So who fathered her other 6 children?
DeleteGreat pictures for Christmas.
ReplyDeleteThank you Dave. Only 6 days to go, and I haven't even bought a bottle of whisky or whiskey. I'm behind with everything as usual.
DeleteI'll have a bit of that spirit of Christmas in the Red Bush please Gwil.
