Today's the big day. By the way, the photo is from last year. As you can see it wasn't a very big tree. But it was fresh and had the perfect shape and smell. And these things are important. I hope we find one just like it later today!
The great green monster is now standing quietly in the corner refusing to bark. I daren't approach. Maybe try hanging the things on it tomorrow. Hope it's calmed down by then. I think it tried to bite my r. thumb, . It's bigger than the usual one. A special price to you, the man with the axe said smilingly ;-)
Ah, the tiny Christmas trees. __ Keeping that treestew steeping for another year; when it becomes too grown, we begin to groom another clay-potted youngster.
garden kettle carries to another year scent of pine
Gwilym, such great Christmas hopes to you and yours, and to all! _m
Thank you Magyar and the same wishes to you and yours. It's been a real pleasure blogging with you and the other regulars this last year - such a great crowd.
You'll never guess. Robin card arrived this morning in the post! And it's a splendid one too. The last card. The baubles are going on the tree tomorrow I've been informed. Happy Christmas to you too!
Good luck with the tree,
