At least 42 women have been unlawfully killed in Austria, a country of 8 million people, so far this year. This figure is the highest percentage of such cases in EU countries according to the Austrian news media. In the latest incident a 17 year old Afghanistani youth has now been arrested and held in custody on suspicion of killing a 16 year old girl.
Germany population is 10x Austria's so this is how shocking this figure is; equivalent to 420 unlawful female deaths in that land theoretically. It's a tragedy. When I came to Austria 20 years ago the place was an example of a crime free society. The situation has changed completely.

Wiesbaden had similar case. Germany has many documented.
