Thanks Dave. Blue Moon is I think the fan song of Crewe. We were treated to a good hour of singing when they went down by a large margin at Ewood Park, where Rovers incidentally play in their blue and white halves. There's even a Blackburn Rovers fan club in Japan. They just love those shirts!
When I saw your title I was hoping for a Picasso in there somewhere.
ReplyDeleteAh, The Man With the Blue Guitar. Not Picasso's work but my own. I think we've already had it.
DeleteI like the very varied subject in blue. Even the "new" Thesaurus is blue!
ReplyDeleteIt starts with aback and ends with zoom!
Delete"Blue is the colour.." Especially if you support Chelsea. Madonna sang: "True Blue." I like the Blue Room in Saint Micheal's Mount in Cornwall.

DeleteCity also sing Blue Moon Gwil. Blackburn sing The Wild Rover, don't they? Wish they served Thwaites bitter in Ireland.
ReplyDeleteIt used to be Walkers Warrington Ales before Thwaites bought them out.
