Yellow Period

  1. "They call me mellow yellow". The Donovan song began playing in the old mental jukebox when I saw those stunning photos Gwil.

Incidentally Donovan lives in County Cork. He once walked past me in Bantry but I never let on. I once saw him play at Glastonbury in 1989 too.

    1. Thanks Dave. Never seen Donovan live but his 'mellow yellow song' is certainly catchy. I had to look up the meaning of it :-/

I thought I'd do a series of colours. Maybe red tomorrow.

  2. Red is my favourite colour. So I will look forward to seeing your next post Gwil.

  3. Never thought of yellow as a particularly restful colour but these four views are soo very calming. The last one in particular I could have enlarged on my sitting room wall (if I had room between all my first husband's paintings)

    1. More mellow yellow than yellow submarine I think. By the way, just in case you stray that far on one of your day out tours the submarine was moved from Albert Dock Waterfront to the city's John Lennon Airport entrance some years ago.

  4. The first picture has much going on, even a princess tongue wagging.
