  1. Most people think I'm off my trolley because I tend to see the funny side of most things, but I am surrounded by tense miserable people on the whole. My kids are the worst worrying about the world etc. I tell them to look back to past worries and notice how they were no worth worrying about but it makes no difference.
    Love your blog. so different.

    1. Thanks Briony. This is the real vintage. Classic comedy. When we watched these my ribs would literally ache and tears of joy would roll down my cheeks - Les Dawson was and still is the best comedian ever!

  2. Yes Les Dawson is the best. His mother-in-law jokes were loved by all. When he was told these jokes had to go because they offended said mother-in-laws they were the first to write in begging for the jokes to be put back. Those were the days. He was a natural comedian.

    1. The words 'at present' signal to me that it won't always be so. But many sad things take time to get over. My mum needed one year almost to the day. Now she's fine. Everyone is different. Maybe one day in a few weeks or months Tess will do something funny or the sun will shine in a particular way or a bird will sing and you will be smile quietly. And that's a start. It's my wish for you.
